Rebecca founded The Lever Room and is an award-winning strategist and biosphere scientist with 30 years’ experience helping organisations make resilient decisions across carbon, nature and investment. She leads board-ready strategy, measurement and technology development, turning complex evidence into clear, defensible decisions. She also helps clients build partnerships and unlock capital where trust and long-term value matter.
Rebecca helped co-design the founding strategy for The B Team, the global initiative co-founded by Richard Branson and Jochen Zeitz, and brings strong networks across the UK, US and Australasia.

Ella Sheehy
Ella brings a practical, measurement-led approach to carbon and sustainability work, supported by a Master’s in Sustainable Business with distinction. She works directly with organisations on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions measurement, climate action planning, reporting and practical decarbonisation.
Ella also leads The Lever Room’s certification programme, guiding organisations through the assessment process and turning complex requirements into clear, achievable action. Her background spans sustainability, data, design and systems thinking, with previous roles at Moana New Zealand and Fisher & Paykel Appliances.

Morgan Dally
Morgan is a machine-learning specialist who brings applied AI, remote sensing and data systems to The Lever Room’s technology work.
He builds models and tools that turn complex climate, geospatial and building data into clear, practical insights.
With a background in computer science and seven years’ industry experience, Morgan combines technical depth with a focus on making sophisticated technology useful and accessible.

Rosie Dodd
Rosie brings deep expertise in carbon accounting, product footprinting, nature-related risk and circularity.
She previously held the role of Product Footprinting and Circular Economy Lead at the Carbon Trust in the UK and has worked with organisations including Nestlé, Dyson, Dr. Martens and New Zealand Winegrowers. Rosie helps clients quantify impacts and identify opportunities across products, buildings, organisations and investment portfolios, drawing on experience across New Zealand, the UK and Europe.

Lewis brings extensive experience in greenhouse gas measurement and verification, including as a Lead Carbon Auditor at Toitū.
He helps organisations make sense of complex emissions data, strengthen their methods and produce clear, credible work that is ready for assurance.

James McCarthy Toia
James works at the intersection of product, technology and commercial execution.
A dairy farmer’s son and mechatronics engineer, he founded and grew Spidertracks from a New Zealand start-up into a global aviation technology business, combining satellite systems, software development and real-world operations. He brings practical judgement to The Lever Room’s technology and growth work, helping turn strong ideas into useful products, commercially sound businesses and meaningful real-world impact.

Felicity helps translate complex work into clear, trusted communication, so strategy and delivery land well with decision-makers. She shapes brand and messaging, clarifies project vision, and sharpens problem definition around real customer needs.

Roman brings deep expertise in environmental science, resource efficiency and the built environment.
Drawing on more than two decades of research at BRANZ, he uses evidence and modelling to improve low-carbon design, climate resilience, human health and the way resources are used across buildings and the wider construction system.

Leonie advises on partnership grounded in Te Ao Māori and informed by public-sector and commercial practice. She has held leadership roles across iwi and government, with experience spanning kaupapa Māori health research and innovation, Indigenous enterprise and impact investment.
