    Rebecca Mills

    STRATEGIC LEAD

    Rebecca Mills is the Founder of Lever Room and an award-winning leader with three decades of experience delivering resilient climate and nature solutions. She has shaped strategies at scale, created measurement tools that drive impact, and advised on investment and regenerative projects - building on earlier experience leading sustainable design & construction for the UK’s Environment Agency.

    She holds an MSc in Biosphere Science and executive training in impact measurement from Oxford’s Saïd Business School. Earlier, she co-designed the global strategy for The B Team, founded by Sir Richard Branson and Jochen Zeitz, to redefine business for environmental and social good.

    As Lead for Women in Climate Tech Australasia and an Edmund Hillary Fellow, Rebecca is deeply networked.

  • Ella Sheehy

    MEASUREMENT

    Ella holds a Master’s in Sustainable Business with distinction and is a sustainability specialist. Her skillset includes creating impact strategies and implementation systems, carbon management and target setting, and building decarbonisation roadmaps.

    She brings strong analytical capabilities alongside a practical understanding of how to drive change within organisations.

    Her experience spans corss sectors across New Zealand and Australia, giving her a well-rounded view of sustainability challenges and opportunities across diverse industries.

  • Hon Wei Ng

    Hon Wei Ng

    DECARBONISATION

    With a background in chemical engineering and product development, Hon Wei brings a strong foundation in systems thinking and impact reduction.

    He also brings 7 years’ experience across multiple sectors. At The Lever Room, he supports clients to reduce their impact through footprinting, target setting, and decarbonisation modelling.

    Hon Wei’s experience also spans technical due diligence for investors, helping them understand opportunities across portfolios and transactions.

    Rosie Dodd

    STRATEGY & INNOVATION

    Rosie is a sustainability strategist with a Master of Environmental Science and expertise in carbon accounting, nature-related risk, and circular economy.

    Rosie has worked across New Zealand, Europe, and Central America with companies such as Nestle, Dr Martens, NZ Winegrowers.

    Her work spans products, organisations, value chains, and investment portfolios - supporting clients to measure and verify impacts, and to identify and manage climate- and nature-related risks and opportunities.

    Morgan Dally

    DATA SCIENCE

    Morgan is a machine learning engineer and data scientist who’s passionate about using AI and remote sensing to transform how we measure and make sense of the world around us.

    With a background in computer science and seven years of industry experience, he brings a deep curiosity for how data can solve complex challenges across environmental, social, and commercial domains.

    Morgan’s expertise spans Generative AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and data-driven modelling to deliver real-world solutions.

    STRATEGY

    Emma leads ESG partnerships at The Lever Room and with over 12 years’ experience across corporate and finance sectors, she brings a strong commercial lens to complex ESG challenges, translating intent into measurable action.

    At BNZ, she integrated sustainability into core business strategy, building partnerships that delivered both positive impact and business value.

    Grounded, collaborative, and commercially astute, she believes in driving change that lasts - for business, communities and nature.

  • Roman Jaques

    DATA SCIENCE

    Roman is a built environment scientist specialising in the use of data to drive efficient resource use and sustainable, low-carbon design. He has led research and innovation at the intersection of climate, technology, and human health, applying modelling and evidence-based methods to shape standards and strategies for more resilient systems.

    At The Lever Room, Roman brings a creative, science-based lens to exploring how data-driven innovation can unlock better outcomes for people and the environment.

    James McCarthy Toia

    DATA SCIENCE

    A dairy farmer’s son with a passion for fixing complex problems James beings a systems approach to the Lever Room. He’s previously built one of the world’s largest aircraft tracking software companies from the ground up, combining remote sensing, spatial mapping and aviation technology to transform global safety systems.

    In a key advisory role James applies his technical and spatial expertise to help uncover patterns and support scalable solutions.

    Lewis Foster

    MEASUREMENT

    With expertise in impact assessment, Lewis specialises in greenhouse gas measurement and verification, spanning across organizational performance and product lifecycle analysis.

    With previous roles including Lead Carbon Auditor at Toitū, he works alongside clients to both help them understand their carbon footprint and make practical reductions that align with climate science.

    Felicity Stevens

    STRATEGY

    Felicity has a depth of experience supporting clients with strategic positioning and communication. Her background with leading brand agency Alt Group involved working with very different organisations and industries.

    She enjoys developing and delivering successful strategies through a clear vision of each project, understanding customer needs, and defining the problem space.
